American Idiot - Green Day

The most influential album in my own personal history.

This, when I was quite small, was the most played album in my household. Or at least...that's the way I remember it. I would probably credit this album for my taste in music today, whether that be for better or for worse.

I do think this album has held up very well as I have grown intellectually. Originally I just liked the music. But then I began to appreciate the lyrics of each song and how I could relate to a lot of it. Then even later I began to appreciate it as a whole piece in and of itself.

So I grew with it. And though I am admittedly tired of this album because I've listened to it so much, it probably is not extreme to say that this is my favorite album of all time.
