Bah bah bah bah bah.
Did you know that the rapper Baby Keem is an actual baby? Fact. He is very small and wears diapers. Fact. He is only two years old. Fact.
Except you're a dumdum because Baby Keem is actually 22 years of age. HA. I bet you did not see that joke coming.

Baby Keem is making music because he wants to sound like the very good rapper Kendrick Lamar. However, he is not as good at the rapping as the very good rapper Kendrick Lamar. This is very sad, but understandable because Baby Keem happens to be an actual baby. It is hard for an actual baby to rap because they don't know any words.

I will admit, the last section was a little bit of a joke because Baby Keem is not actually a baby, he is actually 22 years old. HA.

Here's the problem...he seems to not really talk about that much lyrically. This is an issue for me because I find myself needing good lyrics when I listen to rap. I mean, frankly, I need good lyrics all of the time, but some genres are easier to forgive bad lyrics than others in my book. Rock, funk, jazz, dubstep, sea-shanty; these are all genres that can have weak lyrics and there is a good chance I'll still go for it. In the case of rap, it's not really my genre anyway, so usually, a rapper has to be saying something really profound for me to be locked in for the ride.

Fun fact about Baby Keem...he is an actual baby, which means-
Ok no, no more of that joke. Ok uhhh...

He's trying just a little too hard. Like frankly the beats are good, but I find myself saying "you sound like you know how to make something that would appeal to a lot of people but isn't actually achieving a goal." Does that make sense? Like, he sounds like he knows what people want to hear, but doesn't actually have a cohesive or justified reason for making the songs sound like that. Sounds a little like a well-trained AI.
HA:
Last thing, it's actually not that bad. Like, I can appreciate why someone would like this work. It's not entirely trash. There are good things here. Just...not my bag.
Spotty. Quick. Outnumbered.
Frankly, 6.0
