Boing Boing Boing. The sound of a bouncy ball is good.

When we talk about modern Pop music, here we are. This is one of our artists. Bizaardvark person is doing this now.

Let's see uhhh...lyrics are kinda annoying. I'm not gonna die, but there's not a lot of meat here. What meat there is, I like. "Lacy" has lyrics that I find quite good. So does "all-american bitch". But then songs like "vampire", "ballad of a homeschooled girl", and "bad idea right?" don't capture me the same way. Sure I understand that, like most Pop music, I'm not the target audience, but if you're reading this, then you want my opinion. So there we are.

Musically it's a decently boring album. The noises here aren't especially original or exciting, which is ok I suppose, but when paired with lyrics that don't always get me, and melodies that can be uninspired, then please don't expect me to run down the hall screaming ureka while I listen to this fluff.

Melodies are fine. Some I love, some I hate. Our first track has an amazing and enticing quiet melody. This is followed by the second track, which has a chorus where she sings one note. So uhhh....THANK you Bizaardvark.

The vocals are fine just why are all of the songs either pillow-level soft or big room bops. Try adding dynamic range. Oh yeah, and she sounds like everyone else. Which is not surprising. Find a different timbre. That'd be cool.

Uhhhhhh Pearl Jam released a good album.

Civil. Standard. Beautiful.
