What happens when the music you happen to be listening to is original? Is it bad? No. Is it good? Yes. So what is it then? Everything. It's everything music.
I don't know what it is about lovely old Irish folk frolic meadow music that makes me love it, but I genuinely like it MORE than actually bad music (crazy right...hey, does anyone feel a sense of deja vu?). Of course, the advantage of bad music is that I can make funny content out of it. But there is nothing funny here. Because this is everything music.
Everything melodies.
Everything emotions.
Everything performances.
Everything arrangements.
Everything. Music.
There are a couple of weaker songs on this album, and for that, I guess I take off a point. But this is just...everything. It's just everything. It is unironically these albums that make me want to explore music. Because when you land on something like this that is so emotionally exciting, it makes you imagine most shit is like this.
Unfortunately it's not.
Earthy. Witchy. Imaginative.
Everything 8.5
