Gulp! - Sports Team

I often know why I like or dislike something. And if I don't know why I like or dislike the thing, I spend a lot of time figuring it out.

So, when I listened to Gulp! and couldn't figure out why I liked it so much, I didn't know what to do. So I did the normal thing, and decided to write a review on it.

I think this review will probably piss a lot of folks of and rightfully so. I'll spoil the review for you...I'm gonna say a bunch of stuff I don't really like and then give the album a 9. So...sorry in advance.

I don't know why I find Alex Rice's voice tolerable. Most of the time I would be like "yeah this guy sucks" and just not listen to it. But I don't mind it so much...I don't know why. That said, it's still not like...good.

And the melodies. Very weird. Not something I would usually enjoy. A little messy. Pretty rhythmic, but a little dirty and boomy. No thanks.

The lyrics are often unintelligible. That might be a good thing. Some of the lyrics you can hear are good though. So...points for that. But again, not special and amazing.

I don't know. Who cares. This album is awesome and I have no cerebral reason why. See ya.
